2006 MISS KENTON COUNTY
FAIR PAGEANT
**New for 2006-NO PREREGISTRATION
Teen Division – Event is Monday, July 17, 2006 - 6:00 p.m. - Entry Fee $20.00 (cash or money order only) – Registration in person at the fairgrounds, Sunday July 16 5:30 p.m. Miss Division – Event is Monday, July 17, 2006 - 8:00 p.m. - Entry Fee $25.00 (cash or money order only) – Registration in person at the fairgrounds, Sunday July 16 5:30 p.m.
1. Contestant agrees to abide by all rules of the local and state contestants now in effect or as announced hereafter.
2.Contestant agrees that the time, manner and method of judging the contest shall be solely within the discretion of the Kenton County Fair Board and that the decision of the judges shall be final.
3. Contestant must be a resident of Kenton County.
4. a A contestant, in Miss Division must have reached her 16th birthday and cannot have reached her 22nd birthday by October 31.
b. A contestant, in Teen Division must have reached her 13th birthday and cannot have reached her 16th birthday by October 31.5. A contestant must be single, never married, never had a marriage annulled, and never had any children. (If elected Miss or Teen Miss Kenton County Fair this rule applies until after the state pageant.)
6. A contestant must not be a winner of another 2006 Kentucky County Fair.
7. The contestant must be of good moral character.
8.a. Miss judging will be based on scores from interview, swim suit, and evening gown competition. Please select a one piece swim suit in a solid color. Interviews will start at 6:30 PM.
b. Teen Miss judging will be based on scores from personality, poise and appearance (dressy dresses only). Please select tasteful summer attire for on stage introduction.
9. The winner must be available for remaining evenings of fair to award various prizes.
10. Miss Teen Contestants must be available for practice, Sunday, July 16th, from at 6:30 PM. Anyone missing this practice will not be allowed to compete in pageant and will forfeit the entry fee.

WINNER receives a crown, banner, and cash prize.

SR. LITTLE MISS/LITTLE MASTER CONTEST
**New for 2006-NO PREREGISTRATION**
TUESDAY, JULY 18, 2006, 6:30 P.M. (Registration 5:30 p.m.)
1. Child must be a Kenton County resident.
2. Child must have reached his/her 8th birthday by July 1st, 2006 and cannot have reached his/her 11th birthday by July 1st, 2006.
3. Girls can not wear any long dresses. (Casual clothes only. No costumes)
4. Boys can not wear any tuxes or tux parts. (Casual clothes only. No costumes)
6. $10.00 registration fee (cash or money order only) is required.
7. Parents will not be allowed on stage with child.
8. There will be an on stage interview.
9. Contestants must check in 30 minutes before show time.
10. Boy/Girl will not compete as a couple
11. Child must come dressed.
12. There will be a first prize of $25.00 and trophy for winning girl and winning boy. Second prize of $15.00 and trophy.

MISS PRE-TEEN CONTEST
**New for 2006-NO PREREGISTRATION**
Tuesday, July 18, 2006 7:30 P.M.(Reg. 6:30 p.m.)
1. Contestant must be a Kenton County resident.
2. Contestant must have reached her 11th birthday by July 1st, 2005 and can not have reached her 13th birthday by October 31st, 2006.
3. Girls can not wear any long dresses. (Casual clothes only. No costumes)
4. Contest is for girls only.
5. $10.00 registration fee (cash or money order only).
6. Parents will not be allowed on stage with child.
7. There will be an on stage interview.
8. Contestants check in 30 minutes before show time.
9. Contestants must come dressed.
10. There will be a first prize of $25.00 plus trophy. Second prize of $15.00.

LITTLE MISS/LITTLE MASTER CONTEST
**New for 2006-NO PREREGISTRATION**
WEDNESDAY, JULY 19, 2006; 7:30 P.M. (Reg. 6:30)
1. Will not compete as a couple.
2. Child must have reached his/her 5th birthday by July 1st, 2006 and can not have reached his/her 8th birthday by July 1st, 2006.
3. Girls can not wear any beaded or long dresses. (Casual clothes only. No costumes)
4. Boys can not wear any tuxes or tux parts. (Casual clothes only.No costumes)
5. $10.00 registration fee (cash or money order only).
6. Parents will not be on stage with child.
7. There will be an on stage interview.
8. Contestants must check in 30 minutes before show time.
9. Child must come dressed.
10. Must be a Kenton County resident.
11. Winning boy and girl will be eligible to compete at 2006 KY
State Fair Little Miss/Little Master Contest. Registration fee paid by Kenton County Fairboard.
12. Winning boy and winning girl will receive $25.00 & trophy each. Second prize $15.00 and trophy each.


KENTON COUNTY FAIR BABY SHOW
EVENT SATURDAY, JULY 22, 2006 - GIRLS AND BOYS
**New for 2006-NO PREREGISTRATION**
06 - 6 months to 1 year - 10:00 A.M. (Reg. 9:00 a.m.)
07 - 1 year to 2 years - 11:30 A.M. (Reg. 10:30 a.m.)
08 - 2 years to 3 years - 12:45 P.M. (Reg. 11:45 a.m.)
09 - 3 years to 4 years - 3:00 P.M. (Reg. 2:00 p.m.)
09 - 4 years to 5 years - 4:00 P.M. (Reg. 3:00 p.m.)
OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. All contestants must be residents of Kenton County.
2. Entrants register day of show at time specified above.
3. No special clothing is needed. (Casual clothes only. No costumes)
4. The decision of the judges will be FINAL.
5. $10.00 registration fee (cash or money order only).
6. There will be a first prize of $25.00 and a trophy for each group. There will be a second prize of $15.00 and a trophy for each group.
